NEW ENGLAND TOUR
"Vermont, New Hampshire & Massachusetts!"

1st Day: We head out to New England today with our first night's stay in northern New Jersey.

2nd Day: Board the coach for our trip to the magnificent Green Mountains of Vermont. Late in the afternoon we'll arrive in Rutland, Vermont. Unpack and relax for a two-night stay. Dinner is included this evening. (CB, D)

3rd Day: Our Vermont Guide will meet us at the lodge and we will depart for a full day of touring Vermont. We'll stop for a visit at the Morse Family Farm and learn how maple syrup is made. In Montpelier, stop for a photo opportunity at the Gold Domed Capitol Building, home to the United States' smallest capital. Highlighted today is a luncheon at "Trapp Family Lodge". Visit the property, lodge, and gift shop. Learn about the Sound of Music Family! Later, visit the Cold Hollow Cider Mill and see how cider is made; plus, enjoy a sample. You are free for dinner on your own this evening. (CB, L)

4th Day: Depart with a local guide and travel to the Vermont Marble Exhibit. View the film on Vermont's marble history, which shows Presidents' busts carved of marble; a restored marble chapel, a mineral exhibit and gift shop. Next, we will travel through the Killington Mountain area on our way to visit the President Coolidge State Historic Site. See the birthplace, homestead, and Plymouth Cheese Company. Later, enjoy lunch on your own in Woodstock Village, a quaint village with a covered bridge and charming shops. A picture stop will also be made at Quechee Gorge, Vermont's "little Grand Canyon". Our guide will depart and we'll continue on to Waterville Valley, New Hampshire. Dinner is included this evening. (CB, D)

5th Day: Depart this morning and head to the Castle in the Clouds overlooking Lake Winnipesaukee and known for its Castle Spring natural spring water! This turn-of-the-20th century mansion is in the Ossipee Mountains and offers beautiful views of the "White Mountains" of New Hampshire. After Castle in the Clouds, we'll travel south into the state of Massachusetts. Lodging tonight in Sturbridge. Dinner is included this evening at the hotel. (CB, D)

6th Day: Today we will visit Old Sturbridge Village, a recreated New England rural village of the 1830's. This living history museum contains more than 40 restored buildings moved from various parts of New England. After lunch, we head to King of Prussia, PA. Upon arrival, we will check into our hotel for the night. Evening is free for your enjoyment. The King of Prussia Mall, one of the largest in the United States, is located near the hotel. (B)

7th Day: After your continental breakfast, we will be heading home, arriving approximately 6:00 PM. (CB)
