Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade New York City, New York

1st Day: We are en route to the Big Apple - New York City. Lodging will be on the New Jersey side of the city. Evening is free for your enjoyment.

2nd Day: Today is the day to watch the famous Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. You will want to get a good vantage point. America’s favorite Thanksgiving Day parade features all the amazing pageantry, fun, and surprises that have made this annual New York City extravaganza a perennial favorite. Heralding the start of the Christmas season, this beloved holiday parade features colorful grand floats, lively marching bands, amazing character balloons, and special performances by some of today’s hottest stars and Broadway performers -- plus an appearance by Santa Claus. This afternoon we will take the boat ride over to the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island. Since the late 19th century, the Statue of Liberty has welcomed immigrants to the shores of America. A museum at the base of the statue tells the story of immigration to the U.S. from 1600 to the present, and of the statue’s construction and evolution. Following the tour, evening is free for your enjoyment.

3rd Day: Today we have a guided tour of the Big Apple. Sights you will see on this tour are: United Nations, Chinatown, Empire State Building Observatory, Times Square, Financial District, and much, much more. You’ll cover the major attractions which make up the greatest city in the world. We will see the famous high-stepping Rockettes performing their fabulous extravaganza at Radio City Music Hall.

4th Day: Depart the hotel for the return trip. Thus ending an exciting tour of the Big Apple. Arriving home approximately 8:30 PM.
